Amalfi in June?

Hi,
Thanks everyone for your informative comments re: Italy. My fiance and I have been planning on the Amalfi Coast and Rome for our honeymoon but after reading people's comments, I am concerned about the weather. We are leaving the US on June 3rd and plan to be there for about two weeks. Will it be warm enough to swim and layout?

Thanks!

should be, I have been there a few times in May and it has been hot/warm.

It should be warm enough for swimming. But don't expect sandy beaches on the Amalfi coast.

It should be fine for swimming as long as you don;t expect the water to be HOT. Have been twice in late May and the hotel pool was open and busy both times.

As noted the beaches are rocky - not sandy - so we did no more than stick toes in the water - but it wasn;t cold. But for sunning on a beach you need to rent a lounge or something.

Go to Cape Cod if you want to lie on a fabulous beach...not Amalfi.
