Amalfi Coast Tour or rent car with driver?
Hi All,
What are the choices for seeing the Amalfi Coast? I rented a car last time, but the drive was not easy to say the least. So this time I would rather just ride!! Bus tour would be nice, since a car/driver would cost more Euros. Bus may even add to the fun, since more prople would be involved.

IMHO the best way to see the area is to take a ferry down the coast - seeing the incredible views from the water and stopping at the various towns to explore. The trouble is organizing the ferry stops based on the schedule when you are there. You might do ferry one way and bus the other - although we drive there and love it - but we go in May.

What is cost - ballpark - to hire a car to take you on a trip along the Amalfi Coast? We will have 6 people with no luggage and would like to stop at several places along the way and spend a day doing so? Any thought are appreciated!!

We have booked with Sorrento First Choice for 6 of us next month, a day visitng Positano, Ravello and Amalfi. Includes vehicle, english speaking driver, highway tolls, car fuel and parking. It is 250 euro so about 42 euro/person.
