Amalfi Coast suggestions for Honeymoon in October
 

I need advice regarding our 4 night stay at the Amalfi Coast. We are leaning towards Hotel Parsifal in Ravello, but when I asked if room with a balcony was available during the nights we would be staying, they said they would probably have one but they could not guarantee it. Does this response make sense? If we book a room, why could this not be guaranteed? I would really like to stay here because the rates are reasonable and I've heard good feedback regarding the hotel, but I don't get the response. I'm also trying to decide between Hotel L'Ancora and Hotel Poseidon in Positano. Rates are about the same, but it would be a standard room in Poseidon vs. a Junior Suite at Hotel L'Ancora. I've heard the standard rooms at Poseidon are small, but other than that I've heard mostly positive feedback about the hotel, and I like what I've seen on their sight. Can anyone help us decide between the two? I've read through previous posting regarding these hotels, any advise you can give me in addition to these posts would be most greatly appreciated. Your hotel, as most hotels, won't guarantee you a particular room because they don't know you, don't know whether you will show up, don't know if you will show up late and can give the room to someone else who shows up early.

We stayed at Le Sirenuse in Positano for our honeymoon a year and a half ago. We loved it!! They upgraded us to a suite since we were on our honeymoon, and we had the sight and sound of waves crashing outside our balcony doors all the time. Huge, marble bathroom with four person hot tub, beautiful bar, beautiful people. Would highly recommend!!

We stayed at the Bellevue Serene in Sorrento last November and it was great and the prices were excellent. It's right on the water and easy walking distance to the center of town and the jet boat dock to Capri. I highly recommend it.http://www.bellevuesyrene.it/bellevue.htm
