Amalfi Coast Recommendations

I am going with my husband to the Amalfi coast to celebrate our 25th anniversary in September. Has anyone ever stayed in Pellegrino Pensione in Praiano? If so, what did you think of it? Any other ideas for a small apartment or B&B in Praiano?
Any other village you might suggest and a favorite place to stay or great restaurant suggestion? Any sites or activities not to be missed? Thanks a million.

Hi Sandy
I noticed that nobody ever replied to your question about Pellegrino Pensione last year. Where did you end up staying? I have res. this summer at Tramonto d'Oro, but a friend speaks very highly of the Pellegrino, so I thought I'd compare.

daffy,

Can't say about the Pellegrino, but the Tramonto d'Oro is a medium sized, very nice hotel. Beautiful inside with the usual fabulous Amalfi Coast views!

Be sure to have dinner across the street at La Brace. They open at 7pm.

Buon viaggio!

i just read an article on hotel caruso in ravello. certainly worth a special lunch stop. the place is gorgeous, but rooms are quite dear, as can be expected at such a luxurious place.

good info! Grazie
I just learned of a Villa La Poggiolina owned by the owner of Pensione Pellegrino. Anyone know it?
