Amalfi coast - Positano or Amalfi?
 

I'm heading to Italy on my honeymoon in July for 3 weeks. The first week we are spending in Rome, the second week in Sorrento. For the third week, I do not know where to stay - Sorrento or head to Amalfi or Positano? Can anyone advise on which is the best option and what hotels are best? I was thinking about the Hotel Mediterraneo in Sorrento and perhaps the Cappuccini Convento if we decide on Amalfi for the last week of our stay.

I've been to all three, but Positano is definitely my favorite. We rented a villa there...gorgeous!! Also, I'd highly recommend a restaurant there, Saracen d'Oro. Wonderful (yet inexpensive) food. I'd say it depends on what you're looking for in the town. Sorrento's the largest of the three, Amalfi second, then Positano. They're all very nice, but Positano tops them for its views. Let me know if you'd like any further info. (P.S. We honeymooned in Italy 7 years ago this May...great way to begin a marriage!)
