Amalfi Coast Pictures..hot of the presses

We got back from the Amalfi Coast last week and thought that I would share some photos for anyone that's interested.

Your pictures are gorgeous, and it looks like you had great weather.

Were you there last week of May, and what were the temps? We are looking to go to Positano next May.

How were the crowds?

Great! I was hoping you'd post some photos before we leave (Wednesday).

I saw your heads up about the underground tour in Naples. I've had a page on that in my file for about six months. Sounds like something we should do. Were you able to walk up for that, or did you pre-reserve?

We both photgraphed the artist on Positano beach. I was there on May 14. What about you? I wonder how many paintings he cranks out a week.
BTW Your Canadian Rocky photos are exquisite.

Thanks for the kind words. Poet, I liked your pics too...very nice.

Wanderer,

Yes we were there the last week in May...weather was great...hi 70's to low 80's duing the day and cooler at night.

No real crowds..but many groups (including students) at Pompeii by late morning.

ms go,

The underground tour was a real highlight. the tour last about 1.5 hours . You probably should confirm times..but the tours seem to run at 12:00,2:00, 4:00....with a 10:00 and 6:00 on weekends.

You don't need reservations. We just walked up and found out that it was just the 2 of us on the tour with a guide.

Did you see the virtual tour on their website?
