Amalfi Coast - October Weather
 

We are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast in early October 2008. Does anyone know what the weather is like that time of year. We will be there Oct 7-11. Thanks for any info.

It can be warm and sunny or it can be cold and rainy. We were there twice in the beginning of October. The first time it was beautiful and last time it was freezing cold and rainy. There was actually snow as we went back over the mountain toward Naples. Mt Vesuvius had snow on it, also.

I had a light jacket and had to buy a sweater to go under it. October is when the weather starts changing.
