Amalfi Coast - Full Itiinerary Advice

Need some advice on my current itinerary. We are starting our honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast in the middle of July.

Day 1: Land in Naples @ 1pm. Take the ferry to Capri for 3 nights
Day 1-3: Stay at Hotel Weber Ambassador (thoughts?)
Day 4: Travel to Positano
Day 4-9: Stay in Positano (recommendations?)
Day 10: Travel to Naples for flight to Barcelona (spend 6 nights in Barcelona)

Thoughts? Also, should i do Positano first, followed by Capri? 3 nights too many in Capri?

Thanks!

No, I don't think three nights is too many on Capri. It's a beautiful island, and much more magical at night after the day trippers have left.

What is your budget for Positano?

And when is your flight to Barcelona?

Depending on the time of the flight, you might want to consider overnighting in Naples, which is worth a visit, even if short.

This is a nice relaxed itinerary that you should really enjoy. The Weber is an OK hotel in a good spot overlooking the sea and it receives good reviews.

It makes little difference which place you stay in first and Positano is a good choice. However, it does get booked up really quickly especially for the time of your trip. Check www.venere.com for prices and locations.

No hard limit on the budget in Positano. The flight to Barcelona doesn't leave until ~1030am

I would not travel up to Naples for your Barcelona flight on the same morning. If your flight is 10:30am, you'll need to be at the airport for 08:30, so you'd have to be up very early. Spend the night before in Naples to avoid traffic problems and potential bad weather problems for the ferries.(Can happen even in the Summer.

Positano has some very pricey hotels, so see the Venere.com website I mentioned. I can recommend Le Sirenuse, Palazzo Murat (my favourite).

Great itin and I think it is a good idea to start in Capri - great place to relax and get over the jetlag. In July, you can get a direct ferry from Capri to Positano.

Our flights generally leave Naples around 11 am, and we never have a problem (knock on wood) getting to NAP from Positano in time.

A couple of other favorites in Positano are Bucca di Bacco (great location on the beach, if you don't mind being near the action), Marincanto (a little higher up) and Hotel Poseidon (a little higher up, so fantastic views).
