Amalfi Coast for preteens

We have a car service for a full day of touring the Amalfi Coast (Positano-Amalfi-Ravello).

Is there anything that will be of particular interest to my 14 & 11 yo daughters?
Not big shoppers, but they do enjoy historical sites (as long as its not one church/museum after the other)

It's not exactly where I would take girls that age, especially if motion sickness is ever an issue. There is shopping, but they aren't big shoppers and many stores will be closed mid day.

What about swimming?

This area isn't really full of historical sites. Many people visit the church in Amalfi. There is a hike between Amalfi and Ravello, but you have a driver.

Id do a daytrip to Capri for a visit to a few historical sites.

Furore gorge is a striking sight. You could stop for a swim there.

Or stop for swim at Marina de Praia:

We're going into it knowing this may not be their favorite part of our trip, but we do think it's a part of Italy they sheould see, and will remember when they're older.

No trouble with car sickness. Swimming sounds like a would be a good break for the middle of our day. Any other beaches with decent sand and changing rooms available?

Are there any short, decent hikes (an hour or less and preferably down hill)?
Ravello to ?
Steep is OK as long as it's not too dangerous.

My son enjoyed hiking trail between the villages and Pompeii most.We stayed at Majestic Palace for Pompeii and Best Western Paistea Positano both were quite nice.

I don't think a hike to Pompeii from the Amalfi Coast would qualify as "short."

From Ravello to Scala is less than an hour. Very easy. Ravello to Atrani is another possibility.
