I am trying to find the train schedule in English from Cannes to Nice. I also plan to a stop in Antibes on the way back. Some of the sights offer translations, but the one I found does not. Thanks for the help. I am only there 1 day and need to do this efficiently!

Is this a business trip mibrown? The word 'efficiently' makes me wonder.

If it is a vacation, trying to visit Nice and Antibes in one day and still return to Cannes is hardly worthwhile. You will not have enough time for much of anything other than to tick the names off a list.

If you need an English translation you could use the German train web site which is very easy to use. It show intermediate stops and a map.

Forgot to add, average 30 minute trip. Average about 20 minutes between trains. No issues there obviously.

I believe that the local bus system is much cheaper than the commuter trains. But of course we are talking about comparing 4 euros to 1 euro, so it hardly matters.

Thank you so much. That information is very helpful. What is the train called? I am on a cruise and want to see Nice and Antibes. We dock in Cannes so whatever time is left over will go to that city. I have been before, 15 years, and was able to tour Cannes, Eze and Monte Carlo. The bus would be cheaper but slower, I think. Appreciate your time.

What do you mean, what is the train called? In French, the word for train is actually "train" (just pronounced differently, of course). If you mean, what is the official name of the French national railways, the abbreviation is SNCF (Societe Nationale de Chemins de Fer).

If you think there is some special name just for one particular train from Cannes to Nice, there isn't. It's just part of the national railway system.

You will see the local trains listed as "TER" (train express régional). It is not a joke, merely a euphemism.

Yes, I meant the official name, and the "TER" helped. With different trains to choose from I wasn't sure I had the correct one with the correct schedule. I guess I am obsessive/compulsive about information gathering, sorry. Thanks for your help.
