Amalfi and Rome dining recs!

Headed to Rome next weekend for 3 days and the Amalfi for 6 days. Any breakfast/bakery/gelato/lunch/dinner/drink recommendations in either location? Looking for some middle of the price points too. We are staying in Conca Dei Marini on the Amalfi which is about 10 minutes from Amalfi. THANKS!

I enjoyed all of my dinner choices in Amalfi-- you can click on my name for the details in my trip report. In Rome, loved Armando Al Pantheon.

In the amalfitan coast at Minori and at Tramonti there is Sal De Riso, this is a pasticceria and he is famous in whole Italy! He also win various prices for his cakes. I can raccomand you ricotta e pera (ricotta is a typical italian cheese with pears) it is really delicous!! and you have to try it!

And if you have time left at the amalfitan coast, go to Cava di Tirreni (it is a little town near Vietri sul Mare!) it is worth to visit and you can eat realy good at La vecchia cucina di Ernesto and also the price is very low (confroning the rest of the coast!)

In Rome, we still love to just hit Piazza Navona & just stroll past all the open-air dining options.
Ones that are busy or if we see someone's plate that looks good is where we try to get a table.
Tre Scalini is our favorite.

Rome...have to get pizza at Forno or Roscioli bakery in Campo dei Fiori. We also loved La Gensola and Glass in Trastavere.

If you are in Positano, we enjoyed Le Tre Sorelle on the beach. We REGRET missing La Tagliata. We walked past in the AM after climbing the steps to Nocelle...spectacular views. It was too early for lunch but we really wish we had fit in Tagliata. The restaurant at Le Sirenuse was beautiful if you are looking to splurge.

Try to go for cocktails at Monastero Santa Rosa in Conca dei Marini. The property is so beautiful and the bar is indoor/outdoor and sublime. The restaurant is good but not that impressive.

Our favorite in Rome was La Buca di Ripetta, on Vi Ripetta, Campo Marzio area.
Another we liked:
Cacio e Pepe (Via Giuseppe Avezzana, 11, 00195 Roma a local place.

Colline Emiliane Via degli Avignonesi, 22

Trattoria Monti near the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore

And here is one recommended by a friend who lives near Rome.

For Aperitivi: Vinallegro (Piazza Giudutta Tavani Arquati 114

On the Amalfi coast, Ristorante Marina Grande, on the waterfront in Amalfi.

in Atrani, A Paranza

I'm one to go on a gelato hunt in Rome and on our last visit, Gelateria al Teatro knocked my socks off.

Roscioli in Rome, along with Piperno.

Andrea Panza in Amalfi for drinks and pastries. Lido Azzuro in Amalfi for great seafood.

Acquapazza in Cetara is fantastic. We also liked Cumpa Cosima for lunch in Ravello.

Always Tre Sorelle on the beach in Positano. Great food and people watching.

Another vote for Roscioli's in Rome - we ate breakfast at the cafe twice. We had a great dinner at Renata&Luisa, also in Rome. We were staying in the Campo di Fiori area.
