Am I worrying too much about the Scavi tour in Rome?

I'm soo worried now! We have a confirmation # for the Scavi tour and a booked day and time, but then it goes to say to reply with your CC # within 14 days. Well I replied, got an auto=reply back from them, and it's been over 2 weeks so far and no charge has been made.
I notified my CC that they'll be an overseas charge coming in...but should I be worried...or just wait??

Thanks in advance,

Samantha

Sammygrll,

I don't have all of the exact dates as I scheduled everything from my office e-mail, but there was a sizeable amount of time between sending my info and receiving back my final confirmation. Maybe, 2 to 3 weeks. I'll check tomorrow for sure. But don't worry. I know, 'easy for me to say'.

When are your reservations?

If you got the confirmation, simply take a print out and show it to the elegant Swiss Guard, he will let you in, I am sure.

We got our confirmation for our late February Scavi tour, but we didn't pay until we were there. We paid at the entrance.

It's been several years since we were in Rome and did the Scavi tour but I think there is a phone number available. Why don't you google and see. Seems like we had to call them to straighten out our reservations. They had and English speaking assistant. We worked it out over the phone.

We received our Scavi tour confirmation # on Feb 13. We sent our CC payment by email on March 2. I phoned the Scavi office on March 9 since no charge had been made. The man who answered the phone indicated that the CC info had been received and all was in order. A few days later the CC charge was made. On March 17 the "Receipt of Payment" email arrived.
