Altitude 95 reservations
 

I have e-mailed the restaurant Altitude 95 for reservations and have not received a reply. Is this the correct way to reserve a lunch spot?

I e-mailed them also -- want to dine at Jules Verne in February -- e-mailed 2 weeks ago and no reply. Is this typical?

About a year ago when we went we also e-mailed our request and I resent the e-mail about 2 weeks later and received a comfirmation at that time, so maybe do that.

Time after time people are told to email for reservations. In Dec 2001 I tried that and was told 95 wasn't taking reservations by email. So for a few dollars we called. No problem. I don't know if it is the same for Jules Verne. To get the numbers just go to the Effiel Tower web site.

You might try faxing them - I was able to reserve window table for an early June lunch via fax. Unfortunately, I can't remember if I e-mailed them first and followed up with the fax or just faxed first - sorry! Our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) had a wonderful meal there - my 10-year old daughter especially enjoyed a seafood extravaganza & both kids enjoyed pulling the smails (sorry - escargot) out of their shells.<BR>Good luck & have fun!

how does Jules Verne compare to Altitude 95 (for lunch) in terms of food quality, stuffiness, price and general atmosphere?

Jules Verne is a Michelin starred restaurant- formal, gourmet, etc. <BR><BR>Altitude 95 is much more casual and good for families.

Boy, that's a good question: Is a reservation needed for lunch?<BR><BR>I can't get through to Altitude 95 either by fax or telephone. I must be dialing incorrectly. At this point I am ready to give up. BUT... If someone out there has gotten in this restaurant for lunch WITHOUT a reservation, maybe we will go that route.<BR><BR>BTW, if we do go for lunch, do we go straight to the restaurant? Is there a separate entrance? Do we need to purchase Eiffel Tower tickets to get into the restaurant?<BR><BR>THANKS!!!

You need reservations at 95 for lunch. Don't take the chance. There was no charge getting to 95 but if you want to go up in the tower after lunch you can get tickets from a vending machine close to the door of 95.
