Altitude 95 Eiffel Tower
Does anyone know the price of the meals during lunch time? Thanks

I have only been to Jules Verne (now 11years ago), but...

I believe I have seen reference to a prix fix lunch offering at 40-50 euro person. Might need to plan on twice that to make it a "complete" meal (wine, dessert, coffee, whatever).

Or you could write to them, and they might fax you a menu (page or two?).

http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/teiffel/fr/pratique/rest

Best wishes,

Rex
[email protected]
I had dinner at Altitude 95 2 years ago and a full dinner including some wine cost me $70.00 for two of us.
gb, I have reservations for lunch at Altitude 95 next week. I'll let you know when I get back.

We had lunch at Altitude 95 on Valentine's Day, 14 Feb. Got a wonderful window table for two. We had the 3-course menu w/50cl of wine for a total of 63 Euros.

The food was only OK. The view was spectacular.

Budman--the question is, would you go again? My husband and I will be in Paris in May, and I don't want to go to Jules Verne, but Altitude 95 sounds interesting. We enjoy good food, but are not interested in pursuing the Michelin-starred places. I would like to combine a pleasant meal with a memorable visit.

Barb, I wouldn't go again, although we enjoyed it. If you haven't done it, I would say go for the experience. I believe it is a "one-time" to do in Paris. It was a Valentine's thingy, and my wife had never been to Paris. She enjoyed it also.

We had dinner that evening in a small restaurant in the 18th where we stayed called Le Restaurant on Rue Veron. The restaurant was typically French and recommended by the staff that rented us our apartment. The food was outstanding. They had a special Valentine's Day menu, and I was truly impressed. The restaurant is also listed in Cheap Eats in Paris.

We're not into Michelin-starred places either. My wife would never think of eating escargot, rabbit, or anything like that, but she shocked me when she ordered the vinegar quail for an appetizer.
