Alternative to Moulin Rouge, Lido or Crazy Horse?

I have read a post here recently, but foolishly didn't bookmark or note the info. It was a comment on a show that the poster had been to that was better and cheaper than all the above.

Did any see it or was I just dreaming. I have tried to do a search - but nothing!

I saw that too, so unless we are both dreaming, you are right. I think it was a post about the Follies Bergere which often gets ignored.

Here's the thread I think you're talking about:

Drat. I have more trouble doing that. Try this one:

I don't know about better (that thread doesn't say that and the person hadn't been there in 25 years), but the Folies Bergere is definitely cheaper than the main ones you name that I think most tourists go to. They are all around 90-100 euro without dinner, and the Folies Bergere is about 25 euro less than that or so. I think they even have some cheaper performances at times.

The Paradis Latin on the Left Bank is also cheaper than those, but you never see that mentioned on here -- I think mostly French people go there. It's only about 10-15 euro cheaper than the main big names.

Thank you both for your replies. I have checked websites for both places and will make a decision soon.
