We stayed at Foyle Bed and Breakfast in Kinsale and it was superb. I didn't think I would like a B&B but this one was great--charming and the rooms are so private. It is about 4-5 miles outside of Kinsale but we were glad of that after a day among the hubbub of Kinsale. They do have a website-google it.
Wherever you end up staying, if you are in Kinsale early in the day watch for all the little dogs who are let out of their houses in the morning. Mostly Jack Russell terriers, they ramble around the town for a bit then make their way home.
We stayed in another B&B a 10 min walk down the road from Bunratty on our last night, but neither of us can recall the name. It was lovely! I wish I could influence you to skip Blarney and get off the beaten track down to Clonakilty and Skibbereen, then Baltimore and the ferry to Cape Clear. In Clonakilty you can learn so much about Michael Collins and the early rebellions;the town green is the place to see; in Skibbereen is the Famine Cemetery--guaranteed to stir your Irish heart in a way that the Blarney Stone will not. Both places have excellent pubs (O'Donovan's in Clon, and The Wine Vault in Skibb are our favorites). In Skibb, ask at the tourist center for directions to the area's breathtaking standing stones--you won't be sorry, and you'll see something few tourists ever do. Baltimore is a gorgeous, unspoiled village and if you have luck you can take the ferry over to Cape Clear-priceless.
