Alsace Restaurants

We are looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Our hotel provides limosine service and they have recommended the following restaurants:
L'Auberge du Schoenenbourg in Riquewihr
La Table du Gourmet in Riquewihr
Maximilien in Zellenberg
L'Auberge de I'll in Illhaeusern
Le Haut Ribeaupierre in Ribeauville
Le Sarment d'Or in Riquewihr
Does anyone have any personal recommendations or negative comments about any of the above? This is a special occaision and we want a nice restaurant but nothing overly pretentious.

The Auberge D'Ill is wonderful and in a beautiful setting. A special place. You sit outside first for your apertif, then you are escorted inside to eat.

Have you checked tripadvisor.com to see if there are reviews for any of these restaurants?

What cigalechanta said. Auberge de L'Ille is very special. Beautiful, lovely, warm, excellent but not haughty service. I once heard it described as the least expensive French 3 star restaurant. So go for it.

All are great!
"de I'll" is prob the very best.
I really like Le Sarment d'Or and the vill of Riquewihr (after the turistos LV in the late PM), but my FR fam came from close by to the US - I still can't imagine why!!
