Almond Blossom Festival - Sicily
 

Does anyone know anything about the Blossom Festival in Siciliy. I will be going to Siciliy at the begining of Feb. and understand the festival is there sometime in Feb. When is it? What is it? Is it worth going to? Thanks so much.

Rhonda, I have been looking into a possible trip to Sicily, and did come across a little info on this festival. Check out www.bestofsicily.com According to their events site, it runs from Feb. 1-15 in Agrigento. Hopes this little bit helps. My husbands family is Sicilian, and my in-laws always rave over the festivals there. Have fun!

How was the festival? We're planning to go in 2011. Also, I'm looking for almond groves in Sicily. Does anyone know where I can find some beautifully blooming almond blossoms?
