All of you who love Paris…..
 

We will be in Paris in October for only 4 nights. It will be our 16th time there (as some of you know from our trip reports)

We, of course, have our favorite restaurants to revisit, but we like to find one new delight each trip for dinner or lunch.

We will be staying at The Madison Hotel on Blvd. St. Germain and usually we like to walk to dinner and back.

Any suggestions of your favorites in that area are welcome.

We love Bar Iode on Blvd St Germain for fresh seafood/raw bar. It is casual but the food never disappoints.

Thanks for the suggestion. I Googled Bar Lode and it looks quite interesting.

Last September a friend and I had a great lunch at Pepita https://www.pepita-paris.fr/en/. We had no idea that it was an Italian restaurant. The food and service were wonderful.

My favorite, very casual, is Le Bonaparte. I go on every trip to Paris. Around the corner is OO's favorite shop, Jules Pansu. It's become mine. I buy a tapestry pillow cover on every trip.

I've dined with theflock at Le Bistrot d'Henri, 16 Rue Princesse, 75006 Paris, France. Tiny Very good. You'll need reservations, I'm sure.

Mamaw's favorite in the area is l'Atlas and it's become one of mine as well.

The seafood is amazing, especially the shrimp cocktail but everything else has been excellent there as well. My friend loves the truffle risotto she ordered on our last trip.

All three seem to be about a 3 minute walk from your hotel.

Bailotte seems to be about a five-minute walk from your hotel. Small and interesting menu of French cuisine by a Japanese chef. Buzzy and busy the night we were there (a Saturday, maybe?) with lovely service and comfortable pacing.

Just the suggestions I was looking for.
So far this is it for dinner:

Saturday. La Jacobine….always our first night, tired and need good food choice
Sunday. Marco Polo….our Italian go-to. Mr. Albano always seems to recognize us and treat us well
Monday. Brasserie Vagenende…..our kind of room and vibe
Tuesday. Save the last night for someplace new

Your suggestions:
Bar Lode and Pepita both look interesting
Bonaparte….one of our favorites for breakfast
Bistrot d’ Henri….love it, especially the lamb chops
L’Atlas….walked by there on Rue de Buci many times and always had it on our list so that’s a definite maybe with your recommendation
Bailotte….that looks different and quite inviting

4 nights is just a teaser in Paris. Then we head down to Nice for a week on The Riviera.
