Maybe I am ignorant of how to include symbols like the currency or accents easily but that is what I would like.

Hello AGM, here is a website prepared by a nice Fodorite which I have bookmarked. I hope this helps you and others.

Hi Katie and all the other posters.

I know it is after Christmas now and I'm not sure I made Santa's "good" list this year but as long as we are posting out wishes I want (need) a spell checker. It would be nice if it could spell "Bertschesgaden".

AisleSeat - if you use Mozilla's Firefox browser instead of Explorer it will spell check your posts as you type them. You can download it for free at www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox.

Thanks Thursday. I will give it a try. This may just be the thing I was needing in my stocking all along.

And for Mac users who upgraded to Leopard, Safari 3.0 will spell-check as you type as well, using the built-in OS dictionary.

But better editing would alleviate the need for a spell checker.

Search function isn't bad here. Usually finds the stuff you want, like "Venice apartments."

But as Katie admitted, the software they're using is almost 10 years old and there's been a lot of progress since then.
