Alitalia in trouble - shall I panic now or wait until later?

I read that Alitalia is in financial trouble & will only be flying for about 1 more month. I'm scheduled to fly in mid June. Anyone have any words of wisdom?

The Italian Government will try very hard to find a solution to Alitalia's deparate financial condition. I would not worry too much, for June.

How ridiculous, BA is in financial trouble too along with most of the aviation industry.

Just fly, it won't go bust, that i promise.

Italian Welfare Minister Roberto Maroni declared today that Alitalia should have some "good news" as early as this week. Whatever that means ......

I'd wait it out if I were you...they've probably been in "financial trouble" for some time as have many other airlines. Nobody here knows exactly what is going to happen.

Allitalia has had many "schedule changes" in the past month or so. I would check to make sure that the flight you are on is still in fact flying. If they have cancelled your flight, they may rebook you without informing you.

I bought several tickets about a month ago. Naples to Venice, Venice to Athens, Athens to Rome to Split, Dubrovnik to Rome. I sure hope I still have those flights! Thanks to all for bringing this up so I can make sure my flights are still scheduled.
