Alicante, Spain

My wife and me will be in Alicante for one day in May. Any suggestions on what to do?

Frying yourself on the beach is the popular choice, though not perhaps in May. If you want something more active there is a small fortress at the far eastern end of town which is open to the public.

Are you travelling in that general Alicante area? Do you know anything about Murcia or Cartagena? We will be in that part of Spain later this year and would love to get your ideas about the area. Thanks.
It can actually be very nice on the beach in Alicante in May. As already mentioned, the fortess is very interesting to tour or just walk along the main street near the beach. It's beautiful.

Have fun

What would the weather be like there and south of there in December?
