Alhambra ticket question

We will be spending the day of Saturday, October 2 at the Alhambra..will we need to book the tickets in advance for this time of the year? And the best way to get the tickets? Thanks.

I would also like to know if there are any recommendations for a guide at the Alhambra? Or should we do it ourselves?

and I'd like to know how far in advance you should book your tickets? I'm planning on going in August but I'm not sure yet if there will be 4 or 5 in our group...so want to wait to book until I'm sure! thanks!

Hi,

Here is the website for purchasing tickets in advance.

Bashful - if you know you are going to be there that day, you might as well play it safe and get them in advance. October won't be as crowded as the summer, but it can't hurt and saves you from having to stand in line to buy tickets.

Canuck - I would recommend getting the audioguide and then tour around at your own pace. There is a lot of info on the audioguide.

Cailin - August is very busy in Spain. I'd try to book them as soon as you know how many you are going to be.

Cailin,

If I were you I'd book for 5.

At worst you'll be out a few Euros divided by 4 people.

Better than missing out.
