Alhambra guided tour - Which company to use?

Has anyone a recommendation on whom to book with?

We visited the Alhambra in 2016, on our own with a downloaded e-guide, and found that entirely satisfactory. We spent hours and hours, in fact.

Unfortunately, our planning is last-minute. We leave in 4 weeks and the general admission tickets are all sold out. Even the Granada pass has only a single place (at 7 PM) to tour the Nasrid palaces on the day we want to visit.

Can anyone recommend a reliable company that has well-informed (even scholarly) guides who don't rush you?

I have seen tickets for a 3 hour, English-language "Skip the Line" tour that gets OK online reviews. Has anyone a personal experience to share?

Hi Ted!!

I took a private tour with Guide Juan Cobo a few years ago. I recommended him here to a few others and I think they were happy. His contact information would be in this trip report covering a trip to Madrid and Granada. I am sorry that right now I do not have time to look through it, but you can look at the Granada portion, at the end of the report. His English was very good, as I recall:
