We will be in Alesund for 2 days. I am looking for hiking or sight seeing suggestions for Alesund. We will have a car. From there we are travleing on to Geiranger, Balestrand and Bergen.

One full day is enough for Alesund. The countryside near around Alesund is not as dramatic as farther south. Two nights in the town should be enough; and add the saved time in Geiranger or Balestrand.

You can drive to Andalsnes and hike Nesaksla from the city center.
The trail has been improved and there is a new viewpoint.
