Aldeburgh to London-where to drop off rental car and pick up train?

Next month I'll have a rental car for a few days, picking up in Cambridge and then making my way to Aldeburgh. I'll have the car for a few days and then will need to return to London on a Wednesday midday. Where would be a good place to drop the car? I could drive to Ipswich, return the car there and then take the train into London or I could drive farther on the way back to London and drop off elsewhere? I can't tell how far most car rental places are in Ipswich from the train station.

Can anyone recommend a place that would be good to drop off the car rental and pick up a train easily into London? We'll be heading to a flat rental near Borough Market near the London Bridge Station.

Agree -- Stansted -- easiest and all the majors are right there.

Good idea. I have reserved cars for Stansted. Seems like it should be an ideal location.

To follow up:
Stansted was a great location for car drop off and pick up. We rented again later in the trip and it turned out to be convenient. There is the Stansted Express train which is gets you into central London (Liverpool Street) or Zone 3 (Totenhame Hale). Buy online in advance for cheaper fares.

The airport is not very big so the rental car village was easy to find and buses came to drop off at the airport and vice versa every 10 minutes or so.
