Albi-Carcassonne to St. Remy

Jump to last reply

\We will start with an afternoon in Albi after driving from Figeac.

Option A: Tuesday afternoon and evening in Albi.
Wednesday all day in Albi
Thursday morning drive to Carcassonne, a brief walk around, then drive to St.
Remy. ( This is the only part of the trip that we are just driving to simply get to the
next stop. We had to make choices. Next time?!)

Option B: Tuesday afternoon and evening in Albi.
Wednesday in Albi. Michelin says it is about 2 hours to Carcassonne. We could
leave Albi in time to get to Carcassonne, check in and see the city at dusk, which I
understand is the prettiest time. Then spend the night in Carcassonne and start
the drive to St. Remy. This would give us a longer day to drive to St. Remy.

I know this part is jammed up, but please help me make the best of it. We had to
make choices.

Let's start here and get the best way to approach this leg of the journey!
