Albergo Cesari or Hotel Parlamento...which would you choose?

Hello, We are headed back to Italy this spring. I was going to book Hotel Due Torri again but they told me they did not turn on their A/C until June so I am looking into other hotels.

Has anyone stayed at either Hotel Parlamento or Albergo Cesari? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Parlamento is a 2 star hotel; Cesari might be a 3. kismetchimera likes Parlamento. Do a search.

Is it cheaper to stay at Parlamento? Is that important to you? The locations are so similar I would not base the decision on that.

Best wishes,

Rex

I stayed at the Cesari 2 years ago and was very pleased. The hotel staff and concierge were outstanding. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious pastries, a large assortment of fruits, cereal, of course coffee, and if you ask the waitress, she will bring you cappacino. After my first morning, the waitress automatically brought me my cappocino- very personal.
The rooms are very clean. Their was a safe in the room, good air conditioning. The the rooms are very plain and basic, don't expect anything interesting or traditional Italian. Think spartan Hotel furniture! The bathroom was marble (very tiny) But, I did love the location. It is located on a tiny ancient street off of the Corso. I would stary there again for the price and location. I am not familiar with the Parlimento.
I was very pleased with the staff, and thought they went out of their way to please.
Just don't expect large rooms and eclectic or chic room decorations there.
