Alassio, Italy, lodging

Would like to spend 2 nights in Alassio in late Sept. Interested in smaller 2 or 3 star accommodation closer to middle of town. No need for beach front.
Any suggestions?

Still hoping to get a suggestion for Alassio accomodations. It is a tourist city and hotels abound. My research has not located one catching my fancy despite hours online.
Any help??

Miy rather dated Cadogan Italian Riviera guidebook recommends the Hotel Kon Tiki:

The Kon Tiki looked fine but I found a B&B closer walk from train station Albergo Fiorenza & Banksia Meublè (www.alassio.it/banksia). Booked 2 nights at 70 Euros per night inclusive. Of interest, I finally faxed inquiry as no response from direct email inquires to 3 different hotels in town.
Hope it is a good choice..but anything on the Italian Rivera beats TX. Ha!
