Ajaccio to Paris flight in October....please advise!

Hello,
My husband and I were hoping to travel from Ajaccio, Corsica to Paris on the 27th of October but I can't find any available flights. CCM's site has been down for a while and even Air France specifies that they don't fly in late October. Does anyone know who does?
Thanks so much!
Lisa

How firm are you on the the date? The reason I ask is, it appears tickets can be purchased for dates up until the 26th. I'm not certain, but it appears that seasonal service stops on the 26th.

Unfortunately we are tied to that date. We'll be in Sardinia before then and we have an apartment rental in Paris starting the 27th.
Ages ago I looked into this and there were flights on the 27th. Hope that they add some and thanks for checking!

Lisabelina, were you ever able to get airline tickets from Ajaccio, Corsica to Paris for your preferred dates? I am trying to do the same but have not had success. How did you solve your dilemma? Are you going to use the ferry and fly from Nice?

Laidback,
We were able to get the tickets...I guess that I was checking too early. We'll go Air France on the 27th of October and fly directly to Orly.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for your reply and do let everyone know how your trip goes. There is not as much info on Corsica here as there is on tripadvisor. I am awaiting a report to be posted on Slowtrav. We are anticipating a great trip in 2009 and all info is greatly appreciated. Have a great time.

Thanks Laidback!
Corsica was the first European island that we travelled to years ago (we journeyed there twice) and since then we have been visiting different islands over the years. Corsica holds a special place in our hearts and I hope that not too much has changed. We'll also be spending a bit of time in Sardinia (we've never been there) and I will be sure to post.
The Corsicans are proud and independent and if one is looking for a wild, beautiful and not overly built up place to journey to then it will fit the bill (at least I hope that is still the case).
Happy trip planning! Lisa
