Airport Shuttle Charles de Gaulle
 

Could anyone recommend an airport shuttle service from Charles de Gaulle airport to my hotel near the Opera Bastille. I need to be able to contact the company by email. Thankyou.

<BR>There is a shuttle that runs from CDG , we believe its door #22 to the Arc de Triumph. Which will get you to the city center and then you can take a taxi. The cost for the bus is approx $25USD as opposed to taking a taxi directly from the airport which is approx. $125USD. Have Fun.

I suggest you look at the information Fodors very <BR>nicely makes available on this site for free, as <BR>they give information regarding an airport shuttle <BR>service in Paris (Paris Airport Shuttle or PAS, <BR>I think) although this is a growing business and <BR>there are several now. BTW, in the previous post, <BR>prices are WAY off -- it doesn't cost any where <BR>near $125 to take a taxi from CDG to the Bastille <BR>area -- I regularly take one from CDG to Montparnasse <BR>for between 200-250FF (US$40-50), and the Bastille <BR>area is closer to CDG. <BR>

Go to www.paris-anglo.com. There is information about Paris Airport Shuttle (PAS) and you can e-mail them. I used them last year, reserving via e-mail. The van arrived at my hotel a little early and we reached CDG just fine. For the two of us it was about 200FFR including tip.

We used the airport shuttle last year; everything about it was excellent. There is a taxi stand right across the street from the bus stop at the Arc.

The Roissy bus will take you directly to the Opera for about 36-40 francs (at least this was the cost in 1995). It is very simple, doesn't make any other stops so you'd be hard pressed to screw up! Just look for the Roissy bus signs at CDG and follow the arrows!
