Airport Lockers
 

Does anybody know about the availability, saftey and price of lockers at the airport in Amsterdam (forgotten the proper name)?
Would prefer to leave my larger luggage here for several days than travel with it.

Left luggage

At the left luggage office you can safely store your luggage for up to one month. The left luggage office is open daily from 07:00 to 22:45 hours and is located in the basement between Arrivals 1 and 2. Outside opening hours you can request assistance via the available intercom system.

Charges

EUR 4.65 per item for up to 24 hours
EUR 3.30 per item for each subsequent 24 hours (or part of that) from the second to the fifth day
EUR 2.80 per item for each subsequent 24 hours (or part of that) from the sixth day until the day the luggage is collected

In addition to the left luggage there are a raft of lockers at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport - tons of them for about $5-7 a day depending on size. Used them many times and seemingly very safe as left-luggage counter staff are usually present in viewing distance.

Thanks very much for this information even though I am not the one who requested it..I leave for AMS tomorrow and will have to store luggage for a few hours at Schiphol.

I too am headed to Amsterdam in May. Thanks for the headsup to bigmitch and all the rest of us. I'll keep it in mind.

Does anyone know if FCO, the Rome Airport has a left luggage office?
