Airplane configuration

Is there a web site to find out the configuration of various planes? I checked on American Airlines web site and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for any help!!

Seatguru.com is excellent.

AA also has all its seating plans on its website. It's under Travel -> Our Planes from the front page, or:

aa.com/content/aboutAA/ourPlanes/ourPlanes.jhtml

When you purchase or hold a reservation on AA.com there will be a button on your confirmation by your seat assignments....you click on that and a diagram of the plane will come up, and the available seats you can click on to reserve. Keep in mind that if you find a web site the seating/cabin configuration will only be generic, since each plane is configured per order. Even within an airline, individual planes may be configured differently. In general, planes to asia, Hawaii have seats spaced closer together. Transcontinental and transoceanic flights will often be configured differently than domestic flights.
