Airlines: Opinion Poll

Just wondering: what do YOU think is the best airline that serves Europe from the U.S.? And why?

|
American...just because they give you a few more inches and they are usually always on time
|
An airline is as good as the individual employees (or meals) you happen to encounter on a given trip.

Big Lou

Right on, Big Lou!

i love virgin atlantic. u get your own tv with a choice of 5 or six movies. the meals are not too bad and the atmosphere is very nice. you get a goody bag when you first get on the plane, it contains socks, earplugs, toothbrush and paste, eye cover, and a mint.!!!!!!!!!!
|
The only way I can help is to offer the obvious - like, we know who isn't. Like US Airways and United, and most especially Delta. yeah, I like that AA extra room.
|
First preference is British Air--you get all the same goodies as Virgin (and I like the pull-up individual screens better than the seat-back ones).

Next is USAirway's Airbus 320--for all the same reasons as above.

But I haven't flown American yet--those extra inches could make me a believer!
|
Austrian Air. How can I find fault with an airline that hands out chocolate bars for breakfast?
Seriously, the planes were comfortable, the staff efficient without being bossy, food in general(especially the baskets of hot rolls) better than average. I felt very confident in flying with this outfit.

united's 777

Business class on most airlines. Coach is just so awful on most airlines.
