airline?

Can anyone tell me how Portugalia airlines is - We want a flight our of Portugal to France and London. Any information you can give on the airline would be appreciated.

I flew Portugalia once from Lisbon to Madeira Island. It was a Portugalia flight operated by Air Luxor I believe. So this probably won't help at all. Incidentally, I still talk about how great the flight was because there was hardly anyone on the flight (had the whole row of seats to myself), food was good, and the staff was very courteous. Very pleasant flight indeed!

Hi. Portugalia (PGA) airlines is a Portuguese private airliner( There are a few more, like Air Luxor, Air Atlantic and OMNI). Their fleet only has small aiplanes ( Embraer ) and it's normally used by business persons. Their crew normally is very friendly (more than in TAP), and the food...well...it's food like in all flights (some people like, some don't). Their flight safety record is extremely good. <BR>

I wouldn't call it Air Portugalia - it might get you mixed up with TAP Air Portugal (Portugal's 'Flag' Carrier).

I wanted to fly from Lisbon to Vigo, Spain. The Portugalia flight was an Embraer 320 (Brazilian manufacture) to Porto, and then, on the Porto-Vigo schedule, aircraft type was listed as a BUS - no, not an Airbus, a Motorcoach. You shouldn't run into anything like that flying Portugalia to France or the U.K. I just thought you might find that 'BUS' anecdote amusing.

I know Portugalia has flights to Bilbao, Spain and Casablanca, Morocco. I'm not familiar with their other intra-European schedules.

It seems like a &quot;fresh&quot; post with Air Portugalia in the message header would be much more effective if you really want to attract someone who might be able to answer your question.

Best wishes,

Rex

Great, thanks. I'll take a look at the link.

Well, I figured that I'll top this old thread -- if nothing else, I knew that rex would insist on a more informative title. :-) But really, I guess I did this to show that I did try searching the archives but not much turned up.

Thanks!
