Airfare to Rome from Knoxville
 

I'm looking for airfare to Rome from Knoxville for July 1. The best I can find is about - should I book it or hope it goes lower????

You can book airfare/hotel for 6 nights w/breakfast including taxes out of Knoxville on Go-Today.com for $1258 July 1.

Knoxville is expensive. (Blame Delta) Could you drive to Atlanta? Even adding in a few hotel rooms you might come out ahead.

I don't know how to advise anyone on if they should buy or wait.... I think predicting airline sales is just a guessing game. I would not wait more then about 60 days out.

I don't for how long you are going, but I just put Knoxville/Rome leaving 7/1, returning 7/8 in Expedia and it came up with $998. That's a bit better.

Buy at or below $950 is my guess; do not wait much beyond April 15. Do consider traveling direct from ATL (though I realize that this would involve cost also - - doesn't make sense to spend $200 to save $190!).
