Airfare Options
I'm starting to research airfare for a trip to Italy in March, in case I find a great rate, or at least to get familiar with usual fares. I'm finding excellent rates on www.fly911.com/ Has anyone had any experience with this company, good or bad? Any other tips on finding good airfare?

Haven't ever heard of it but what a strange name.

With the exception of consolidators -- which can include some vacation packagers and airline affiliated agencies -- it is not all that common for a particular seller to have exclusive access to substantially lower fares. Research anywhere, but when it comes to actually PURCHASING, choose from a solid operator that you know will deliver. (For me, that almost always ends up meaning a direct purchase from the carrier or its vacation arm.)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
I went to www.fly9911.com It switches to http://domain365.com/ which wants to sell me a domain name. |

ira,
You have an extra "9" in the url you typed here. Gretchen, I thought the same thing at first, but I think the context is probably supposed to be "help", like you call 911 on the telephone to get help. Karen |
While ira may have typed it wrong on the posting (above), I found the same thing, and I am sure I typed it correctly. And a search on google.com leads to the one and only (redirected) site mentioned above.
I do feel like I have seen some kind of consolidator named something like this, but I can't think what its name might be. Tell us what site you're actually talking about, Natalie... Best wishes, Rex |
www.fly911.com does not exist. Are you sure you got the right address?
A good, reliable site is www.1800flyeurope.com |
Oops! My bad. The actual site name is even more unfortunate, www.911fly.com. It was established before 9/11, but is kind of a poor name to have. Anyway, sorry for the mix-up and thanks for the help!
