I got an e-mail from Air France about late summer airfare deals. Some date restrictions, but the fares look pretty good.

Departures after August 25
round-trip including fare, taxes, and carrier surcharge. Additional baggage fees may apply.
New York - Barcelona $661*
New York - Paris $765*

Boston - Paris $785*
Los Angeles - Paris $946*

Washington - Paris $840*
San Francisco - Milan $903*

The website has additional fares as well.

Most airlines started sales last week for fall. Prices seem to drop starting around the last week of Aug. There were quite a few posts last week about it.

I don't hang out on this board very much. I posted this in the lounge and thought I'd post here.

I wasn't meaning to discourage you. I was adding info that other airlines were having sales, not just AF.
