Airfare and hotel question for Paris

I am planning a trip for my daughter and granddaughter, a gift for school honors and we will all be meeting up with many flights so I am trying to find some deals. They will be traveling from Houston to Paris in June. Do you have any suggestions or heard any news on deals. Also we stayed at the Brighton hotel and love this area because of the walking distance to so many things, but on the return my husband and I will have a layover, is there a hotel that you recommend to get a different flair for Paris that we could experience, I hate to always limit myself to one area. Thank so much.

Hi J,

For airfares try www.1800flyeurope.com, www.kayak.com and www.mobissimo.com

If you wouldn't mind a less expensive hotel, we always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 128E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops. Has AC and an elevator.

You are travelling in high season so deals may be hard to come by. There are MANY wonderful hotels within walking distance of many wonderful sites that are very economical. Paris is really a "convenient" city.
There might be the possibility that a package would be economical with air fares being so high. It usually isn't because you are basically paying double for the room, but it might be worth looking at, and doing the calculations. You don't say what your city of origin is. I assume you are planning to meet at the hotel. Be sure to have the plans and backup plans for meeting.

If you would like to something a little different and save some money consider renting an apartment. just search Paris apartments on this forum and you will find many suggestions. My favorites, although not the least expensive area:

I just tried to get a couple of nights on the end of our trip on returning from Provence at the Hotel d' Aubusson and they did not have any rooms for that date, a bit dissappointed because most seem to say it is a nice hotel. I have been dragging my feet on booking the hotels because I thought I had lots of time, but I should book the hotel for our family portion of the trip right away. Thanks for you help/

Why don't you try the Hotel Madison in St Germain, it's not too far away and probably about the same cost.

You won't get any deals on hotels in Paris in June.

The Luxembourg Parc is a very well-regarded hotel in the 6th district across from the Luxembourg Gardens. You can check online for your dates.

You can also try Hotel de le Fleurie, also in the 6th. A lovely hotel in a very central location, with some "family" rooms.

I have been given the name of L'Hotel, Relaise Christine, and Villa d Estree, do you have an opinion on these. Thank you for your advice, I always get the best advice on this board.
