Airfare $1360: Cleveland to Munich/Madrid to Cleveland

Hello all;

I guess I am posting for reassurance! The above is airfare, with taxes, for the multi city flights. These are June 3, leave Cleveland: June 21 Leave Madrid. Travel times are decent as well, 11 hours to Munich, 15 hours back to Cleveland. One lay over each.

So, what do you experts think? Throw in the towel and buy them???? Or should I keep looking?

Thanks!

With slightly different dates Jun 6-26 you can go from Toronto YYZ-MUC-MAD-YYZ non stop on Air Transat for under $800. Cleveland to Toronto is 4.5 hr drive without getting speeding ticket.

My June trip was paid with FF miles, but I just booked September trip from Shreveport, LA to Munich returning from Frankfurt. $1235 for me and $1129. for my son leaving from Dallas. Delta --- I figure fares will go up even more as fuel pries rise.

Scat-

That's my thought process, fear of waiting-paying more! Just not the same deals out there that used to be!!

I didn't find any deals at all. This is the most I have ever paid for coach tickets.

Same here! I chalked it up to gas prices! I even tried the "airports within 80 miles" and changing the entire route of the trip to fly out of from Europe, everything was about the same! However, roundtrip from one location has seemed to be a little better.
