Airbus to Italy

Is anyone familiar with this equipment? We will be flying an A340 from Dulles to Italy. Have any of you flown on this plane? Thanks in advance for your comments. Marlene

We flew Us Air Airbus last Septeber on business class and it was wonderful. We left five days after 9/ll so it wasn't crowded but the people who did travel at that time were sort of kindred spirits and the trip was wonderful

Marlene, Airlines have different seat configurations. You need to tell us also with which carrier you are flying in order to get the correct answer.

We flew on a Lufthansa airbus from Dulles to Italy. It was great! No worries, you will love it. Best flight we've had to Europe. Susan

WE've flown USAirways Airbus twice and will again this year. We like the two-seat Window/Aisle sections in Coach. It's still coach, but not quite so bad as a three seat across (or the multi-seat sections in the center...which might be OK for families but not for singles or couples unless you are a lucky one on the aisle!)
