Air or train travel Granada to Barcelona?
 

Meeting friends in Barcelona and trying to decide train or plane from Granada. I've looked up distance and travel time for both but hoping to hear from fellow travelers about best option. Wondering if air travel, even on a short flight, is as stressful in Spain as in the states.

I would take the 1 hr. 35 min. non stop flight.

There is only one daily train, Barcelona to Granada, at 6:45 am that doesn't require a train change in either Madrid or Córdoba. It takes 6 hours, 51 minutes. The rest, with change of train, take from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 hours, a very long journey.
