Air France is having a wonderful sale but you must buy no later than 11:59 pm EST tonight. I can't use it, sob, because I'm flying in May and June. I believe it's for travel through April 31.

I'm hoping that when others see sales that they will post for the rest of us.

Chicago-Rome prices out at $495.13 (total) for late March. not too bad. Hopefully my airline will try to match.

I saw that! even cheaper to cities other Paris as I recall... just as I'd put the icing on our NOT going this year So, Albuquerque & Santa Fe it is, and hope that the sales return in '08 for a return to the "continent".

Oh man, break my heart! I don't see anything about a Valentine's Day Sale but they do have a special fare from Toronto for $498 round trip. Unfortunately, the last acceptable departure date is May 9 and we're leaving May 18!

But the sale is for travel through <i>March</i> 31.

I just got off the phone with Air France and she confirms that your departure date can be no later than March 31 and you must return within 30 days so YOU CAN travel and return by April 30..
Got so excited I added the extra day to April in my previous post.
She could not bring up that promotion but she put me on hold twice to check with her supervisor. She said those are the terms.

Air France already has a flexible date search on their website. I think it's one of the best for that. Whatever date you put in, you can easily see fares from about a week before and week after that date, that's what is shown on the chart. All you have to do is check &quot;around these dates&quot; rather than &quot;these exact dates&quot; on the flight fare search window.

For me it was a really good sale as I checked and if I could do it I'd have taken advantage of going to Budapest for $492 roundtrip from SFO in February-unbelievably it was almost the same cost from NYC. I believe the sale is or will be over by Jan. 12th.
