Air Europa?
Anyone with any experience with this airline? Their fares from Seville to Barcelona are better than Iberia.
|
They are a well run spanish airline,
internationaly they share flights with Continental airlines to the USA, Alitalia and KLM in Europe. I have used them often and find them realible and good, you can check in www.aireuropa.com Iberia is the refrence airline in Spain so the smaller ones are normally matching their prices or cheaper. |
I flew Air Europa from Paris to Madrid in June and it was more than fine. They actually served sandwiches in flight (try finding that on a 1 hr 45 min. flight in the U.S.!) They also codeshare with Northwest in the U.S. now.

I flew them on this same route - Barcelona to Seville just a few weeks ago. It was an OK airline. No problems, on time. Seats were a wee bit short on leg room, but not much worse than Iberia in this regard. They offered food and beverages on board for sale. Nothing was provided for free, so you may want to consider bringing your own snacks if you are so inclined.

I flew them London to Palma a few weeks ago and as cpdad says they now seem to be offering a no frills service where on board drinks and snacks have to be paid for, but seats are asigned on checkin rather than the scrum on some other low cost airlines. Flew two different aircraft one had very generous leg room the other was a bit tighter both flights arrived early at the destination.

Forgot to add that in my experience the crew were a lot more pleasant than those on Iberia.

Thank you everyone. I was worried that they might not be reliable and cancel flights etc. Guess I will save a few hundred Euros and try them.
