Air Conditioning in Brussels?

I'm looking for an air conditioned budget hotel in Brussels. Does it exist? Thanks to all who respond.

In Brussels you need heating, not air conditioning.

Even in July?

Mika obviously wasn't here in Brussels last week. The heat was brutal--over 90 degrees (F) and muggy. No breeze, either. There was a mad scramble by the merchants on the Avenue Louise. Before the heat wave struck, they had been putting all their fall clothes on display. After several days of true summer weather, they had to hastily redo their windows with mannequins in summer attire. (Cooling tip: When window shopping, look for stores whose doors are kept tightly closed--they're the ones with air conditioning--usually.)
The chances are extremely slim of finding an air conditioned budget hotel. And many of the non-budget places that are technically air conditioned actually are only minutely cooler than outside.
Your best bet is to look for discount rates at an American style hotel like the Hilton. You can find deals for about $99 a night if you shop around carefully.
At any rate, looks like the heat wave has ended, cool weather has returned and life is back to normal. Hooray.
BTilke (Brussels)

I have to say that in the 2 1/2 years I lived in Belgium never once did I feel the need for air conditioning. As a matter of fact, many days in the summer I kept my windows cold. I'm sure it did in fact get up to 90 last week, but that is by far not the norm.

Sorry, should be ...windows closed. Must be a lack of sleep. Either that or my senior moments are turning into senior hours! :-(
