Just as an extra, Janda. I found this great website that you might like, too. It's www.travelforkids.com/Funtodo/Italy/rome.htm I know neither of us is planning to bring kids with us on our upcoming trips to Italy, but this website had all the major Rome tourist attractions neatly laid out. I printed the whole thing out for my own use as a "cheat sheet."

JandaO: You want to go to the
"Parco degli Acquedotti" (Park of the Aqueducts) I assume
.
I've gone twice on the Archeobus Tour which stops for 10min. But you can hop-off and return with them later, they come back every hr. Do a "Text Search" on Archeobus for directions.
But it looks rather easy by Metro. Take "Line A" towards "Anagnina" and get off at the "Giulio Agricola" station.
Look at this map
www.romacivica.net/tarcaf/img/map_Acq.gif that station is the 3rd from the left. You will be traveling on the metro from the leftside (Rome) to the rightside. Walk down that street (Via G. Agricola) to the Piazza A.C. Sabino (~450m). That will get you within the Ballpark
according to that map, just have the Italian name written down in case you need directions. But you'll probably be able to see them from ~the piazza area.
They are not on the Appian Way (Via Appia Antica) but off the Via Appia Nuova (new), ~2km NE of the Appian Way.
The site below has detailed info about all the Aqueducts. Regards, Walter http://www.ku.edu/history/index/euro...uaeductus.html
