Agruturismo/BandB with nightly stays near Pienza

We can only spend 3 nights and want a place with 2 bedrooms, pool, nice decor and close to Val d'orcia, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza. We're a family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

Don't want to go over 250 euro a night, any suggestions?

This was a great place to stay.

The bed and breakfast is a castle just outside a walled city. My husband and I stayed there about 3 years ago. The village is not at all touristy and a some great restaurants. We took daytrips from there to each of those towns and also to Siena. It is about 50 minutes south of Florence. Luiji is wonderful and took us out for espresso at the local cafe. It would be a great place and village for your teenagers to explore. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen and fireplace and very reasonably priced. Gail

Thanks everyone.

Bob, my first choice was Terre di Nano and second was Fonte Bertusi, but both want a minimum stay of a week and 4 nights respectively.

I'll try poggiolo and ilcassero, thanks!

We have stayed in Pienza several times at http://www.piccolohotellavalle.it/index_uk.htm It is a small hotel run by a sweet local family. Very clean, only six or seven years old, good breakfast, parking. You are just across the street from Pienza and can walk to everything there. There are beautiful views of typical Tuscan scenes from the hotel. It should be in your budget.

nina - we stayed at Il Poggiolo last November and loved it. We were there for 3 nights but it was off season. I don't know when you plan on being there but definitely ask if you can rent for 3 nights. It was a great location, fabulous and helpful host, and beautiful clean large apartments!!
