Agriturismo Sicily Recommendations plus Ragusa

Starting a new thread for this one fodorites. So thanks to many of you we have booked four nights in Ortigia and two nights in Ragusa. Thinking of taking the bus from Ortigia to Noto as a day trip and spending the morning in Modica on our way to Ragusa. We would then only have a day and a half for Ragusa. We could either stay another night in Ragusa (we would have to switch hotels though) or we thought we would spend a night in an agriturismo somewhere between Ragusa and Catania. We then have one final night for Catania where we depart from and so we would want to return our car the day before as our flight is early. We would love one night in an agriturismo that had an authentic feel with a great dinner. Any comments on the itinerary dry welcome and suggestions on the agriturismo. Also, can we rent a car in Syracuse? We don't really need it until we leave Ortigia I think. Thanks so much.

You need to check out the perfect place just outside of Siracusa named Il Limoneto.
It has outstanding food and is reasonably priced.

Rental cars when leaving Ortigia: We returned our EuropCar rental to their agency in Siracusa on Corso Umberto I, 54, a few easy blocks from the small bridges that go over to Ortigia. There is also an Avis agency right after you go onto Ortigia, via Dei Mille,9. These two agencies are close to each other. Check their hours as they close for lunch.
