Age 65 Rail Discount in Belgium??
DK EyeWitness Travel Guide says (page 117 on Brussels& Bruges Antwerp and Ghent) that "itizens over 65 pay a flat rate of E2.50 for return journey any whare after 9am on weekdays, except on published restricted days."

Anyone have any info on this??

Are you a citizen of Belgium? It sounds like that is who the special fare applies to and not other seniors.

Nope. Dissident Texan. Thats what I thought, but why would someone include this bit in a travel guide/

Got this reply from Belgium tourist office:
Senior citizen (over 65) can purchase a ticket for a roundtrip ticket for 3 euros (restrictions: weekdays before 9AM, weekends during public holidays)
