Afternoon Tea in the Cotswolds

Hi there,

I'm trying to find a nice manor house for afternoon tea in the southern Cotswolds (near the Chedworth Roman Villa). Has anyone been to the Bibury Court Hotel? Any other suggestions for tea? The Bay Tree in Burford looks fantastic, but I don't know if they do a tea.

Thanks,
Julie

Hi Julie

Both are fabulous but I can recommend the Bay Tree in Burford - more "Cotswolds" than Bibury. And there are other tea rooms so if your first choice is full (nearly always are at weekends and bank holidays)

Hard to beat the Lygon Arms in Broadway.

Thanks...I thought about the Lygon Arms but its a little further of a drive from Painswick, which is very south. Bibury and Burford seemed closer.
